I am romain, a french man located near lyon in france.

I have just discovered this forum and it s look quite good !

I have seen some wonderful work.

Ok so i am here because i need to learn a lot, alone, and quickly.

I am actually working in the irrigation market for agriculture. I am an installator/supervisor for east african countries. Time to time, my customers aks me for some design that the designer hasn't done it completely.
And, you will laugh but i finish school early and never learn how to make a design on a computer. So, i am still working with my pen on white paper...

The first time i give a try to sketchup, i feel it very intuitive, but now i am searching for drawings some simples formes, it looks more complicated.

So i hope to have a good time here with you.

Actually, just because you now have Sketchup, don't abandon the pen and paper.

I also started with paper and pen(cil) and still often sketch my ideas with them. I believe Jean is also in the same boat.

Hello Romain,

Welcome ( et bienvenu ), SketchUp is very convenient for your purpose. I often use it , when outside, in countries where communication is sometime difficult.
