Hello everyone,
this is my first post to the gallery.
I would like to share this work with you called Booktree, a domestic bookcase - tree:[flash=425,344:33vrkn6e]http://www.youtube.com/v/mGtjG_bF0vU&hl=it_IT&fs=1&[/flash:33vrkn6e]

Very nice video and design. I was waiting for the booktree forest to form some king of logo in the end. Just think it would have been interesting.

Yes, i also tried to do this, but didn't like the result, it was too much like an advertising.
So i preferred living it like this. -

Thank you Flapsy!
It is still a concept, not yet a product.
I am currently making a prototype so i can show it to anyone interested in producing it.
If it ever comes out you'll be the first to know -
Like the render, don't like the design particularly though. Something about its form doesn't look quite right, it almost looks too heavy in places.

I like the design, good work on it, although something keeps me a bit thinking, is it stable enough?
Wouldn't the wooden plates bend after a while or break off under heavy weight, because books aren't
any lightweight products, unfortunately. -

Besides, it is held by screws directly on the wall behind the upper branches. Ikea like .. -
nice design Kostas!
