Im modeling extra shapes for a train simulator game. Im trying to make a plow that looks like this..http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=194131&nseq=195 (look at the plow at the lower front of the locomotive).
The shape of the plow is a curve thats on an angle and curves even more at the ends.My problem is sketchup doesnt want to make a face on the angled curve. I really need to make this in sketchup. Any help is greatly appreciated.

When you have the curved part looking good, then draw a triangle on the flat part of your plow, push/pull it through the front of the plow, then select all>rt click>intersect with model. Then just erase the extras...see my attached pic.

If you still need help, attach the .skp file.

Draw the angle where I marked the picture.

Sorry, I just saw you needed help closing the faces too...just draw diagonal lines from corner to corner, or better yet lay the plow down on the flat face and use the sandbox tool "from contours" (from contours doesn't work on verticals well). You may have to divide the straight line at the top of your plow into the same number of segments as the arc has.
