What do I need to import/export to sketch up the models so I can tweak them and possibly skin them if that will be at all possible, if not Ued/nifskope will do the finish work...I think. LOL

never have done models before I do know half the steps but put it all off till I got adobe....well...adobe dose not do modeling ...silly me.... >>

        Hi,
If this is about Unreal Tournament and importing/converting .skp files there was this thread http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=79&t=24699 so maybe you´ll find something there.
About Fallout - sorry, no idea.

        Comfortably numb...

Ya UT 04 or UT3(the newer one), if you got links post them also...I might bye the bullet and get maya or something if I want to do any decent modeling.

Search the thread, you´ll find the link there. It is a plugin that can export sketchup model
to the T3D format compatible with the Unreal engine, as far as I can remember.

              hmmm...

Are you doing this professionally? planning to sell your work?

If not then biting the proverbial bullet will cost you $3495 (retail) for Maya.

What about SketchUp to Oblivion? I remember seeing some tutorials on that. You did mention nifskope, right?
And there are also some tools to convert SU models into Left4Dead levels.
