Loving the bit where the birds appear and the leaves fall.
The rendering of the brick building at that point is fantastic. It looks real.

Thanks guys. Im glad you all liked it.

Earthmover & Solo: Thanks for the feedback guys, always appreciated. Several of the sequences were still images that had effects just applied to them in after effects. That was a decision I made early to do since we already had most of the renderings finished, and I wanted to have this marketing piece as soon as possible while trying to minimize all the time that would have needed to be spent rendering tons of frames. It was a lot quicker, and maybe a bit more visually interesting, to just add effects in after effects. It also gave me more practice with that sort of work. Then I just mixed those sort of sequences in with actual animated camera sequences to still justify it as an animation and not just a slide show. I find that when animating, as along as you have some sort of movement (even if it is just a single frame being zoomed in/out) and mix it properly with other animated sequences that it can work for a project. But it depends on the client to I guess.

As for some of the sequences:
-The birds were a single frame that got zoomed out and I animated the birds in after effects in a seperate file and then imported them on a layer in front of the sky background, but behind the building that had a transparent background

-the fire was the same idea. A single frame with stock footage of fire that we purchased and added in after effects

-The Leaves we added in after effects using a particle system plugin, but they were actually added to an animated camera sequence

-The glass door sequemce was one of the projects that I did the primary modeling in SU then renderd in vray for max. At the time, i just did it to use a project as practice in max, but then I realized the advantage of being able to animate objects in max so i did the cliche door opening sequence. not very original, but i didnt mind it.

Thanks again guys for the feedback, i hope i answered your questions clearly.

Dean: Thanks man. Yeah that will be a nice project for the city and that area in particular. We are trying to get LEED platinum for it all, and I think it will be a great symbol for the city moving in that direction. There are still a lot of obstacles, but hopefully it all works out. I always forget, how close to pittsburgh are you? Not far right?

Cadmunkey: Thanks as well...hopefully I will be able to work on the project and share images with everyone as the project progresses.
