Well, I did say it was a naive question.
I am not even sure if Directx and OpenGL have any compatibility issues or not, or whether some graphics cards are dependent on one or the other.
I just need to do some more research for my own understanding.
Thanks for your reply, hipe-0.Don't worry, there are no "naive questions". Hoping to have helped you or reassured you. I tested the software on xp, win 7 , vista, 32, 64 bits it runs on all configurations.
I don't know about graphic cards that are opengl only. That may well exist on pc or maybe only with unix workstations. Anyone knows? -

Congrats, hipe-O
(and sorry that I gave so little feedback during testing - I will conclude my findings personally but I have not been able to put together any really nice "gallery" or "competition" stuff unfortunately). -

Don't worry you still have the time and there will be other competitions too after this one.

well i think that's a pretty reasonable decision on the price. i think i'll check it out now that the mystery is over. didn't want to try it before just to find out the price was unreasonable.

True. I would also priced it a bit higher (but of course, I don't want to give ideas - hipe-O know that anyways...)

Thanks guys for your feedback. I'm pleased the price is ok for you. It's a difficult question and from the marketing study that you guys helped on (thanks!) I think this is reasonable.
Q: there is a thread I didn't knew about but strangely I cannot access it when I'm logged in "You are not authorised to read this forum." : http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=25791 My web site detected trafic from it and they seem to have questions. Any idea about what I should do?

BTW Pilou,
What method do you use to bring the models into SU (if you do at all) and with what settings?
-
Hi ALL
First class software. To import the result into Sketchup, we may use OBJ-Import.

Hi Guys,
I have a question. I should explain beforehand that I would like to try this software out when I manage to get it running under Bootcamp on my Mac but to my question.
Does anyone think it would be possible to take some pictures of an abject from the front and create a PhotoSculpt and then do likewise from the rear and then put the two PhotoSculpts together in SketchUp to form a model?
I would have something like the attached in mind.
Any thoughts?
Mike

Just take 2 photos from the front face of your object, and 2 photos from the backface
And past the result -
Thanks Pilou,
I'll get the camera out and do that and PM them to you.
Mike
