        Epic render

I think the fire needs work. I wouldnt have the faintest idea how to do it.
Is the fire image an emissive material?

Exaggeration makes a dull story better.

          Hey Holmes,

The fire was actually done post render in photoshop. I was going to render it as an emissive material but got lazy and just did it in Pshop. Maybe next series of renderings I will create an emissive material (and even better yet, attempt to animate the fire for an animation, that is if, someone wants to give me direction on how to do that).

I'm still waiting on some more changes to this project, because the client actually made some minor adjustments to the floorplan, this fireplace being part of the new sheme.

          Thanks!

I think the wall being overly reflective takes away from the fireplace. To be honest at first glace I did not see the fireplace due to the wall being reflective (and I may have been looking for a more traditional fireplace). If the flames were made emissive I think it would help as the color would spill out more on to the floor and warm the room. Overall really nice/crisp render.
