Tracing over photographs, lines hiddden?!

Hi there,
I like to correct my photo's for perspective, scale, and then trace over the photo's to create shapes.
However, I am on a different laptop today and the lines are hidden (well, they are there when I move the photo but I can't see them when drawing).
This works on my other laptop but not now, please can you help?!

Hi Lee,
Lower the opacity of the photo to around 50%. If you have brought it in as an image, you'll need to explode it first.
