Ok...this is my first script that I thought I would share. The attached script will generate a summarized list (Summary BOM) of dynamic components that have a value in the ItemCode attribute. It will also record the Description DC attribute. By default the script will create an HTML report, but it will create a csv by just changing the extension to '.csv'.

Scott Lininger provided most of the base code, I just tweaked it around a bit. Thanks for the help Scott! This was my first attempt at a ruby script, so let me know if I have any completely wrong approaches here...

I'm moving this to the Plugin section. 😉

Thanks...I am not familiar with the script submission process on Sketchucation. Is there information on the website on how to submit?

But it was in the Plugin section - since you went to the Developer section you would not have seen it.

The division between Plugin and Developer section is rather new. Still evaluating how it works.

If you got ideas to the organisation or what info would be useful to new users - please let us know. 🤓

I can't seem to get this to work - tried both csv and html and I just get "Item, Descriptio etc" but no content

Just some stuff I do with Sketchup.
