High res jpeg output problems
-
the first image is exported at 4000x2163
the second image is exported at 3000x1629
is this the result of an export size cap or am i doing something wrong?

Your ability to export large size images will be limited by your hardware. Try turning anti-aliasing off; that usually helps, and probably not necessary at that size. You might also try increasing your virtual memory.

ok that's helpful. i like to understand my limitations (esp when trying to produce large images for boards). turning off the AA did fix the issue. previously I have received a "failed to save" when i made file sizes to large. maybe the semi-xray condition was just a fluke.
i'll actually be producing larger images overnight with twilight render - but i needed quick images this morning.
thanks~

Be careful with Twilight as it can bounce to the same memory isse. I have had problems when the image (render) was ready but it stopped responding when it came to antialiasing (same with Kerkythea). These are all 32 bit applications and cannot address as much memory as we would like nowadays.

Thanks Gai,
For the past 3 nights my computer has crashed when I leave it rendering... I've been turning off autoupdate, screensavers, etc to no avail. This could very well be the problem. Honestly the computer is a bit out dated and could have lots of other issues but it's the best I have for now.
All the Twilight Easy settings have AA as a default. How do I turn it off?

You can always just simply save the image when the render is done but AA is not yet.
