Excel and LO

Hi All,
Wouldnt be great if you could reference an excel spread sheet or a word doc into LO so that it behaves similar to a referenced SU
. Does anyone know how far away this capability is or is there a work around that I am not aware of that would enable me do this? Be interested to hear some ideas on this

Hi Stan,
Not a Word doc but an rtf text file. You can insert these files and they are indeed preserved as such inside the *.layout file (if you rename it *.zip, you will find the rtf files inside)
