Hi, hoping someone can give me a work around for this problem. I import my 2d plan from Autocad and push pull the walls, from a slab I want to replace the internal walls with actual studs in the form of a component. A tool like the materials brush where you select the component then select the wall and it replaces it would be great, but is there any other way? I have profile builder, rp wall maker and a few other plugins but they don't really do what I want. Wallr maker is nearly there but the timber sizes are not adjustable and you have to manually adjust each component. I want to keep the extruded walls which are on a different layer and have the stud walls on another layer so I can turn them on off etc. ANy help would be appreciated, Thanks. Luke [

Let me take a stab at suggesting something. If you are replacing all of the extruded walls with components, it might be easier to rebuild the model from the plan with "dynamic components". Create the required wall type component, and insert it on the model plan, and scale from opening to opening/corner.

Hy thanks for that. I'll have a look to see if there are any dc walls already made. If not I'll have a go myself. Making the components is to hard, but making them dynamic to what i want them to do is. For me anyway. Thanks again. Luke
