This is a great video, Chris, extremely nicely demonstrating the possibilities and power of cgScenes.

I see it is "numbered" as 1 - meaning more will follow?

Yes I think so, for two basic reasons:

Whilst I think cgScenes sits quite well with native Sketchup tools, there will be modifications to the basic plugin to improve usability which may require illustration. For example, the current basic model requires you to select the synch button after making modifications or selections outside the web dialog. Now I can obviate this using observers (but I am not yet happy this development is properly complete).

The other reason relates to the more fantasticalistic notion that targeted scenes could replace documents; instead of "send me the drawings and spec", "link me up to the scenes you want me to deal with." This type of superscene would be an extract of a model that not only has all the information from the drawings and specs but can be examined in 2D & 3D and receive and provide all information from collaborators needed to complete all aspects of the real thing.

On a different tack ... I would like to put this video on YouTube but it is not available in China at the moment. If anyone would upload it for me that would be great. I can send file and account details by PM or email.

I'd be more than happy to do it. What's the file size? (I'm not sure it could get through a PM)
