      Hello!
Is it possible to draw on the vertical plane without having to create a "face" first on which a polygon can be drawn, or maybe to draw on the "wrong" plane and then rotate?
      Thanks in advance.

Sure, just orbit the view until the vertical plane becomes perpendicular to you.

            Hi folks.

You can also use any of the standard views that present a vertical plane to you like Front, Back, Right or Left.

            Just ideas.

Are you referring to image reference planes?

There is this "Standard views" toolbar - whith which you can always navigate to any special view. Note that while in an emty model, drawing would be made basically on the red/blue plane, if there is any model element in there, "in the depth", SU will tend to snap to those, too.

If you want, you can even set up scenes with certain views (and even camera settings like perspective/orthogonal) and by clicking on these scenes, you can easily navigate between the different views.
