Wow, great stuff!
Even though I don1 work with wood, I immediately saw that with a bit of tweaking I could even use an image like this as a nice bump map for an ancient architectural project (a running frieze if you wish):
Edit - sorry guys, the image seems to be rather wide but I guess you get the idea

Yes, that's a good site. I've used some of their CAD drawings for turned legs.
