Delete unwanted files on a mac

Hi, Could someone please explain how to delete unwanted sketchup files on a mac. I have tried dragging them to the bin but they refuse to go. Thanks

I have no problem dragging SU files into the Trash, or using cmd-delete to trash them.
Maybe you have them locked somehow? I am guessing here.
Try right clicking on file and Get Info. See if it is locked. -
Hi folks.
Make sure that you are really deleting the files and not simply an alias (shortcuts on PC).
Just ideas.

Are the files locked somehow?
Do you have full access to them as a user?
What is the error message when you try to delete them? Or do they just magically re-appear after you delete them?
Have you emptied the trash?I guess more information would be helpful to troubleshoot this problem.
