What is the best way to prevent 'jaggy' profile lines when exporting SketchUp images into Photoshop or another graphic design software?

I ask because most of the presentation-quality exported SketchUp images I've seen around the Internet lack those jaggy lines. Regardless of the size, the images remain sharp, and that is the quality I'm trying to achieve.

      Any help would be appreciated.

        Hi NKN,

First of all, open your Styles dialog (Window menu) and go to In model > Edit > Edge settings, Here, if you wish can even turn off profiles completely (well, that's of course a matter of taste to have them on/off).

When exporting an image, try to export in a much bigger size that what you really need. Say at lest twice as big - then in an external image editor (which gives good results with antialiasing), resample the image with antialiasing turned on.

This will help minimizing the jagginess of your exported raster output.

NitekKetinNitek, Did you check file > export > 2d... > options > anti-alis and better quality? In addition to what Gai outlines, many quality Su images are renders that have been processed by ray-tracing software.

Wow, thanks guys. I'm now on the right track to have crisp, quality images devoid of jaggy lines. Yay!
