Default style setting

How do I reset the style that Sketchup opens up in. It always defaults to "Architectural Design Style"

That's not the style but the template. You can change your template under Window > Preferences > Templates. You can even make your own template by doing any change and saving it as a template under the File menu - load it at the same place in Preferences.
