I want to make a 3D picture of my house and then add in patio and backyard ideas. I can't seem to find a good step by step tutorial that shows how to do this to completion and with graphical examples. I've figured out the basics with what I've found so far but they don't take me into what might be considered more advanced steps required to pop out the bay window or model the gabble roof and chimney, etc., etc. I'm finding tutorials that are either too basic, or too advanced, or too specific. If anyone comes across something that sounds like what I'm looking for I'd appreciate a pointer to it.

      Thanks,
      Mike

Take a look at this one, I wrote it awhile back. Formatting is not pretty but the content should get you going.

This Tutorial is about blending a model into a photo (rather than applying textures from a photo onto a model)
