This is my first post here, so i want to say "hello" first. I'm a student from Germany and i'm reading here for a long time now.

Now I have a problem and I hope somebody is able to help me.

With some friend we're programming a computergame and some of our pictures (basically buildings) are created with SketchUp.
      Every building is one file.
And there is the problem. When having two buildings side by side (ingame) then the edges aren't parallel. You can see this in the picture.

Now my question. Is it possible to export the single immages from sketchup with the edges on the blue axis parallel? I've tried with the parallel projection, but I think that doesn't solve my problem!?

      Thanks for helping me...

i'd say its a game engine thing not a sketchup thing. why do you think it sketchup, are these 2d images or 3d models?

“There are three classes of people: those who see. Those who see when they are shown. Those who do not see.”

        http://www.Twilightrender.com try it!

Hmmm... Place the model in front view then select parallel projection. Then select the standard top/front/side view from the menu bar, zoom all, and export. You have to place each model on a same size flat surface, then zoom all before exporting so that the images stay in proportion to each other, or something like that. Delete the same size flat surface before exporting. Will take more work, and test then I have time for, sorry. Btw, your 2d image exports will be axonometrics, not perspectives.

            Thanks for the answers.

@xrok1: these are 2D images. Exported from SketchUp. So it's a SketchUp problem.

But I think i've found the problem. I had made a scene before i tried the thing with the parallel projection. And I think that scene was set to perspective. so I think I must have klicked onto my scene and the parallel procection disappeared again... But I didn't notice that it dissappeared again.

            Problem solved. Thanks for helping.
