      Good time 'o day folks,

I'm new to the board and new to the software. I'm a gearhead (not by trade) and am very used to turning wrenches on anything from a 2 cycle 2,5cm3 model MARZ engine to V8s. Now my problem is that 3D modeling is nothing like playing around with heavy chunks of metal (go figure, right?), however I have to model something rather complex and specific. I've started putting together a project I want to build - a go kart track with a little cafe attached to it. I KNOW what I want in my head, but the guys with the money want to see that prior to letting me build it. I can't afford a professional to model it for me, nor do I really want to go that route.

Anyhow, I will be reading and re-reading the board and will probably end up asking questions.

      Thanks,
      Roto
