Making virtual worlds with sketchup
-
I've written my first tutorial detailing how to use sketchup, as part of a workflow, to get your content into a browser based 3D engine called Unity. In the same way that Flash lets you present animated 2D content inside a browser, Unity lets you work with 3D instead. It's an incredibly simple process but not many people are aware of how it's done.
You can find my tutorial by clicking here.
I will be writing more in the coming weeks.
Edit: Feedback is also appreciated, if you can help me write more clearly then everyone benefits.

Very nice tutorial!
I will try it. But your tutorial scene doesn´t seem to work in Opera browser. Where is the error? -
Ah, there's a plugin to install. It should have asked you automatically to install it. Failing that, you can download the plugin from

I understand this. I installed the plugin properly. It works perfect in Firefox and Explorer, but in Opera it is strange.

This looks interesting, I'm looking at it now. I don't know much about Unity, but the whole idea sounds neat. Thanks for this, Zante
