Dear all, I am new to the forum, I've searched for an answer to this question but I can't find it - I apologise if it is out there. Any help will be much appreciated.

Whenever I import a 2D graphic (as a jpg) into a model, the colours of this graphic always appear to change (they become much darker) when I am viewing it in sketchup. However, when I then export the whole model as a 2D graphic (with shadows on), the colours brighten up as if it were back to normal - I would like to be able to view it like it will appear - I realise I am doing something stupid, can anyone help?

      Many thanks, Ken

It is probably just how SketchUp shades surfaces. You might try playing with the sun and shadows settings to see if you can get it to the level you would like. Do you have a small example file to look at?

Lately you've been tan, suspicious for the winter.
