      Greetings all,

I'm new to modeling & Google Earth, so plz bear with me....

I'm trying to import a solar parking array onto a location I've imported from GE. It says, "choose new location or preserve location". I choose new location. The model comes up with the Foothills background - and I chose the model that I thought was a component. My location is still there too, but I really don't know how to reposition the component... I move the Move/Copy cursor, get an hourglass (wait) and nothing. I will be very grateful for some assistance on this... thx.... 😕

That model is very "heavy" I think the photo textures are making it very slow.

You should be able to move it, try deleting the Google earth layers that came with it. (both layers) to lighten the model. You will need to right click and unlock them, delete, then purge the model to get rid of the textures.

You should be able to move it, for some reason that model is very slow to work with.

        I hope this helps.
