Ah, the forum is not set up to allow encrypted rubies - which end in .rbs instead of .rb. I think we should be able to set it up.

Hi Elcorto, I know you want to bring something new, and I'm very happy about that. Just don't host the file here on this website. The author has hosted it on the sketchupbbs website. He knows it is there and if he ever updates it, he will update it there. And once he updates it, the version hosted here will be outdated. And everyone on this forum will keep downloading the outdated version. We do not (yet) have the author's permission host this script here.
The best thing to do would just be to provide a link that goes directly to the thread on the Chinese forum where we can download the script. That way when someone reads your post and sees the video, they will follow the link back to the most recent version of the script where it is being hosted by the author.
So don't take it personal. But please do provide the link to where you downloaded the original. I'd like to try the script!

Elcorto ...Could you please post the link to that free plugin. It looks very interesting. I have no clue where to go once on Chinese SU forum. I am quite keen to try it.

i had a look at your link above. The home page is in chinese language. Where did you find the information that it is a free Plugin? And it seems you have to register on this page before you can download anything.

well.. i had a go registering on the chinese forum but it fails..
..if the script is free, and the author is aware i don't see any problem posting it here.

That's the point, he's not aware. Even though Sketchupbbs has a very liberal policy of letting anyone post scripts on their site, that is not our policy here. I've PM'd wikii earlier this morning, hopefully he'll respond soon. I'd prefer him to post it himself if it is actually his.

I agree, it would be great to have a better back and forth discussions with their forum. They have a lot of info there, and scripts we don't have. Of course they have all of ours because they just come here, take them, and repost them over there...

..well i can tell you i just registered - as far as i understood (in chinese), i cannot download my own scripts since i have not shared enough 'stuff'.. i think it works with some kind of points earned..

In the BBS Forum i found a post with a face which i have seen before in any post but i'm not really shure if it was in the SCF Forum. Can you investigate such a post? Maybe he is a Member!
