Weld or Stitcher doesn't work

Hi Guys and Gals,

I've recently installed both 'Weld and 'Stitcher' ruby into 'Plugin' Folder and tried to weld/stitch the folllowing

But the 2 curves don't join?

What am i doing wrong?

Weld can't work !
Curves must have a common point!!!

Stitcher can't work!
You must select 2 faces!!!

You must use Skin by architectboy

or better Simple Loft by Chris Fullmer
