Bigfoot (updated)

Pete...so this is Vue? Guess I'd better download and learn afterall. (Just where these monsters belong, BTW, in fantasy art :`)
-
That's really great! Did you do any post-processing?
-
"Pixar, you have a new artist"
-
Thanks guys.
It is indeed Vue, plants are from Solopack 1 and 2, No post processing except for logo and inset of model image.
The model just a modified Dodge truck, nothing really fancy. The smoke and dust is done with Meta-clouds in Vue.
-
Oh, as for motion blur, I actually forgot about that until after I rendered it, I will most likely make an animation of it soon once I figure out the dust and flying debris physics which I then will extract a render with blur.
-
an animation of that will be great!

Hehe... Me too.
Really cool image (I too have to play around with Vue but I guess it'd take me awhile to get where you are at).
Anyway, "special thanks" for the image's aspect ratio; when resizing it to fit to the TDC article, it came out exactly as needed for the style sheet (480x270)
(I hope you don't mind me posting it there) -
Thanks y'all and cheers Csaba on the Catchup mention.
I need to work on my dust particle animation skills before even attempting the animation, anyway I did another rally image.
Totota Racing.

thats awesome....what'd make it that much more awesome would be a few auxiliary lights and headlights glowing!..... would go with the time of day...

No, it isn't! It's bloody depressing, that's what it is!
I won't ever be able to model like Captain Yee-haw can.

ahahahaha I seacond that Stinkie

great images! not perfectly realistic, which i think suits skp more
small crit: the wheels on rally car would probably be turned more to the camera, the dust suggests its turning adn the normal path to follow would be between the dunes
