Ipod touch 3.0 upgrade

Hi all.
Any Ipod/Iphone fans know what time the update might become available on ITunes?
I've heard various reports about this time and that time, even that it has been postponed!

I'm not sure of the time, I hoped it had already been released, but being at work, I cannot check. Itunes is blocked on the network!
I will be checking constantly once I get home in the next hour and hopefully by the end of the night I can send an MMS! -
I'm in the process of downloading the update now. I went to the Apple shop today and the guys in there said that the update would be ready from 18:00 GMT for update to the new 3G S software. Just hook it up to your Itunes. Its 230Mb to download.

Annoyingly I have left my cable at work so I cannot hook my iphone up to my laptop!

The iPhone version loaded perfectly on my iPhone this afternoon. I am now several inches taller, better endowed, richer, better looking and more popular with the ladies.

My phone had a bit of a mental while I was updating. But I reset it and I can now share crappy pictures with my normo friends who don't have Iphones.

They are only charging for the I pod touch (under 10 bucks i think) and the iphone update is free.

Always for the Touch. Not sure what the reasons are but it has always been the case.

I wasn't expecting too much, apart from MMS.
I have yet to really test all features, but what I have seen, it is certainly a welcome improvement.
