How to model a character with sketchup?

how can I model a character wich sketchup, who looks like this:

Is there any tutorial, which I didn't found?
What I'm special intersted is how to model the chubby parts like Legs arms stomach and face etc.Or a other question does anybody know if there is a possibility to import "Maya" models into Sketchup?

Not really sure, but you can try with Sketchycat's human tutorial.
