Creating Snow

I am doing a ski resort here in Idaho and I would like to show a view with snow on it. Anyone have suggestions on modeling snow accurately. Also, anyone have some that they could share (inside Sketchup).
Help would be much appreciated. -
Are you talking about snow on the ground, or snow in the air?

Mostly on the ground. I will add some in the air in photoshop after I get my image.
