      hello there guys!

      cholzee here, from the philippines.
well, im so glad that after a few minutes of surfing the net, i came across this forum.
this may sound funny but, im really a noob in sketchup and i just have downloaded the app a few minutes ago.

i want to learn how to use this because i know it will be useful in my profession.
by the way, im an architecture graduate. i know how to use autocad but a lot of firms nowadays prefer people who could use 3d modelling applications thats why i wanted to learn.

uhm, im seeking for help actually.
can anyone give me the link where i can find the most basic tutorials like from level 1. or like from drawing lines to 3d modelling to rendering to using finishing materials. i would like to learn sketchup step by step.

thank you guys and God bless you all!

        Hi Cholzee, hi folks.

        Welcome to SCF.

Directly from within SketchUp : Menu Help --> Help center (that's the second choice).

There you will find links to many resources including videos. I suggest that you spend a couple of hours looking at all these.

Do not neglect the Google SketchUp User Groups and its FAQs (frequently asked questions).

After that, you can look at the help itself or download the whole User Guide in PDF.

You are welcome to get back here if you have questions.

        Just ideas.

Jean (Johnny) Lemire from Repentigny, Quebec, Canada.

Well, every one of the users once started as a "noob". But true, SU can be "fun" even from the very beginnings.

Here is a sticky post with a couple of resources (beside what Jean suggested) for "Getting started".

          Gai...
