.medieval city.

here's a little medieval city we were commissioned to build... its sitting up on a 'rock' base, which was kept pretty conceptual...obviously, haha... not a ton of detail in the buildings and no texturing was necessary...

Very nice!
-
wow !
will you add textures and render?
-
would love to, as always.... but this is about as far as these projects go.. wish i had more free time to play with them.
-

Well... You can make it available for others to take a look at it...
Like a render challenge... -
That is, if whoever you made it for allows it to be shared
-
how did you do the topo? I find topo to be most challenging!
-
What Fun! (Nice work if you can get it, huh, Jason? :`)

Jason,
A delightful and evocative model. Some of the views just draw you in... you want to go explore the place. I've shared some of the images with two teachers at my school who help students learn SketchUp. I think many of the kids will be inspired to take their SketchUp skills up a level or two. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent job Jason!
-
what a fun model... too bad you cannot take it to the next level but time is money, keep it in a back file and work on it in your spare time this model has such great potential for whatever direction you want to take it, great job!
-
very interesting job. you're using a very lot of patience.
-
Remember that!
Le Mog is a crazzy modeler

Like a render challenge...Yeah I'd love to have a go at rendering it like a model using my cardboard model from SU method!
-
thanks guys... i admit, i did have some help with this one (waited until too late to start it.. and then got really busy)...definitley happy with how it came out, for the time spent.. would've liked to have added some more details, but i think it'll serve its purpose well.
was hoping to add some grayscale textures... and still hope to, to make it a little more appealing for a portfolio piece. unfortunately, i cannot share the model though... i'm probably not even supposed to post images...haha...
