Animation Inside Viewer ?
-
Hi SU friends.
Question: Some models are made using Moridov Animation plugin or Mover Plugin, even SketchyPhysics.
Is there any possibility to open such "animated" drawings with SU Viewer without loosing the "Animation capability" ? Or to explore some Ruby solution ?I've made a lot of models and they become still in Viewer Mode. Making an AVI file doesn't allow you to play with delays or time( very interesting for teaching )
Thanks for any hints.

Well,I'd say it's not possible. The same as making a SP animation and trying to load it into a SU that hasn't got SP installed. You cannot play the animation. Since (AFAIK) you cannot install plugins under the Viewer, you cannot even play the animations created with these plugins (unless they work by creating copies and scenes).

A good reason why the SketchUp team should create some standards for animation ('animation API').

Thanks for answering. I hope the SU Team may play some attention on that point.
