I never knew that Home on the Range was about Kansas. Wyoming always comes to mind for some reason.

I thought Kansas was a 'wizard of oz' thing. and 'Home on the range' was a Texas NRA thing.

Tom, you learn something new every day. I wouldn't have placed The Range Rider in Kansas either, but I see the 'theme tune' was adopted as the State Song long before the series was ever conceived. (I'm old enough to have seen the original, not the reruns, too.)
