It's getting to the point I almost dread checking in on this thread and being humbled.
Naw. (oh I'm still humbled, but as always, inspired and motivated)
Outstanding work!

These are all low resolution mock ups around 2000*1600 but I am very happy with them si will start on the larger more detailed versions this week.
Here is the Samson without wheels.

Am blown away by your work. -

I have now moved onto SU for PC and with the new Thea Presto am getting much quality of models. I started putting this scene together last night, it has a long way to go but I plan to use it for testing artificial lighting animation within THEA. I will put a door on the far side so the whole until is sealed off. Its pretty basic, just one module that has been repeated 4 times.
I have modelled the floor and it has thousands of slits in the grills, with depth not just a cutout. Hoping to get some interesting lighting coming up from beneath the panels. This isn't dark and grimy scifi but rather the opposite, its all quite bright and colourful.

Liam the return!

Multiple places, was so busy launching one of my magazines on the iPhone I havent touched 3D. However I now have everything transferred onto my PC from my Mac laptop and have THEA presto to play with so looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. I saw your character model its coming along nicely!
I am hoping to get this scene done in the next few days and then start the lighting tests.

Well its good to see you back Liam

Going for a semi cell shaded cartoon look. Going to try a before and after once the scene has been ripped apart with aliens and everything on fire. Might be jumping ahead of myself with lighting abilities lol. The actual image is at 4k and when I compress it I loose a lot of the color and quality . It looks better in photoshop raw than what I can export it wil take some post pro color correction i think.

Credit to Bryan K for the cool wheels.

Just messing with the lighting and the materials trying to figure out the mood I want for the scene.

That looks great

Nice work Liam!
