I'm stuck on a problem of how to round some but not all edges in my model. I am trying to put a 1/2" radius on the edges of the base of my table. I want to round over only the top edges, but not the edges where the components join. I've tried using follow me with an arc, but whenever I get to a corner where the edge is already radiused, it tells me I can't radius over a curve. Since I can do it with a router bit, I should be able to do it in sketchup, no?

I've put a copy of the model in 3D Warehouse for reference:

i'm not sure exactly which edges you're talking about.. these ones?

regardless, there are some fundamental problems with the way you have this drawn (unless it's supposed to be this way?).. the inside radius for instance isn't lined up properly (the biggest radius in the picture) it dips at the bottom and then goes past 90 degrees at the top.. small things like that make it a lot more difficult to continue modeling..

another thing, sketchup doesn't play too well with such small sizes (parts of the roundover are less than 1/64") it's better to scale your model up while you're drawing it and then scale it back down when you're finished..

In addition to Jeff's comments, consider reducing the number of segments used for the radius at the front of the foot as well as for the roundover. Six segments will be plenty and you could probably get away with 3 or 4 for the roundover along the edges. If you don't need to radius the top edge of the foot as Jeff did and the large arc doesn't end in a segment that is perpendicular to the top edge, draw a temporary extension to the last segment and include it in the Follow Me path. Follow Me will continue the roundover beyond the part. Select all of it and run Intersect Selected. Then delete the waste. (Think not turning the router off until after the bit has finished the cut.)

As Jeff said, scaling up will help to prevent those tiny faces that SketchUp doesn't like to fill. I find the Tape Measure to be quick and easy for this sort of thing.

Edited to add: As far as using Follow Me goes, try selecting the edges that make up the path before running the tool. I think sometimes that gives you better control and you don't need to be able to see the entire path when you run the tool.

Here I radiused all of the top edges except where it joins to the other component. I drew a radius on the side at the top of the large curve and used Push/Pull to get rid of the waste. The remaining edges were radiused as before with Follow Me.
