Kerkythea site problems? [SOLVED - false alarm]
-
Hi Folks (especially the KT Team),
Recently I've been experiencing problems with the KT site but today instead of letting me log in or access the forums it only gives some php errors.
Is there any news about it? I hope you don't have serious problems (AFAIK the Indigo site was down for weeks due to some hacking).
I was going to find some answers on questions about alpha channels but now...

Thanks for the "heads up", Csaba...
The KT site and forum works fine for me and have done so all days during the week...
Of course there could have been a drop out earlier today, but I can't seem to see that anywhere in the web-site statistics...What browser are you using...??
Are you using the right url...??

I was constantly trying to access it from http://www.kerkythea.org/ (I remember previously things simply redirected me...)Anyway, I was trying to help someone out over the SU Help Groups (although was also advising her to go straight to the KT site). She has problems with the alpha channels when a SU material (fencing) is used.
Now I remember that I used to be able to use the alpha mask as clipmap but now as I tried to show it to her, I couldn't find it anywhere in the material editor. I could get it to work though - inverting the diffuse map and using it as a clipmap but it surely won't work with every material this was a fairly dark/light combination).
I know I shouldn't be asking here (this is why I wanted to find the answers over the KT forums) but then I couldn't get there. Thanks for the correct link.
BTW Majid and Fletch are spot on the issue - she only needs a litle more practice I think:

Aaahhhh well... We have a number of different domains...
But the official site should be http://www.kerkythea.net/joomlaI will ask our web admin (Greyhead) to re-direct users to the .net domain...
The different domains we have are used for "storage" and test sites for upgrading Joomla and phpBB forum...
