I am trying to unfold a three dimensional solid to create a net of the prism. I thought that I had seen this done once before with the rotation tool but I am not able to make it work. I am not sure if I would need to somehow cut the edges first, which is function that I am not sure how to do either, but I am at a bit of a loss. I am running the free sketchup 7 on Mac OSX. Thanks for the help.
