3D Rendering from CAD Drawings

I currently do 2D residential architectural renderings in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I am learning SU and want to start providing my customers with 3D Images. After I have created the Floor Plans in SU, how do I import and use the CAD Elevations to project the current locations of doors, windows, roofs, etc.
