      Hello,

I am quite interested in modeling homes, and I created this one. Any comments or help appreciated. 😄

          Hi SharpSilver

Good work ! Maybe try to give thickness to walls.... You'll get a better effect closer to reality. A trick too,
organizing the drawing, by making groups or components and using outliner ( structure list) would enhance your efficience.
Just for some explanations, I made a "down and dirty" modified model of yours, enjoy.

            Thanks 😄

Did you make the walls thicker in the one you attached? If you did i can`t see it :S

I see that you make the windows nice, look really good!

And no sorry, I don`t have a picture of it. Could you tell me how to take it, and then I will post it 😄

Not bad for a first model.
              Got any more houses?

              Comments:
I'd delete some windows in the garage. The whole neighbourhood can see your nice cars now...

a word of advise this doesn't have anything to do with your house in general but the blue is the back faces and the white is the outside so when you orient your faces they should all be white under monochrome setting.

                    Hi Vadim, Hi All

As far as your modified model is concerned, I've made only few changes
                    ( wall's thickness: no change).
Please open the component library(SU Window menu) ( small house) , you'll see your windows treated as component. The benefit of such a way : changes are applied to all instances of this component wherever they are located : time saver.

Try also to open Outliner(SU Window menu), you'll see the structure of your model, it's quite convenient for focusing on one group (even if hidden ). You can organize your model like a tree, branches etc... you can even decide to move an group inside an other one easily just moving the named group instead of opening group, subgroup ...

                    MALAISE 😄

                      Hey,
True. It is simpler with components. So everything has to be different components? For example, house, window, door, roof... Ok thanks!
Also, I've been wondering. Is there a texture that you can see more from one side than from the other? For example a reflectant window. Like in most business buildings.
                      Thanks everyone 👍

To create a image, go to File > Export > 2D Graphic then select the export type (use JPEG Image), and export.
