What is the Best Free Sketch-Up 7 Rendering Plugin
-
...or the unbiased Indigo Render
-
If youve got a lot of time and need short learning curve indigo is the way to go.
If you need your render done quickly kerkythea is probably a better option. Theres loads of tutorials available to get you started, as well.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions. And these can work with Sketch-Up (not just the Pro version) right?
-
Yes, they all work with both the pro and free versions of sketchup.

indigo is alot easier to use and you get better results with much less effort IMO. 9 times out of 10 you can get a great render with the click of a button. be propared to wait overnight for the results though.

Thanks everyone for the tips. And thanks for the heads up about the rendering time. I thought that only applied to renders for 3D's MAX and Maya.

IDX renditioner, Podium, Kerkythea, and the Su2Pov3 plugin (if your OS is Windows based) for Pov-Ray. All have their good, and bad points. It also depends on what you are primarily interested in rendering.

Kerkythea and Podium are available for Mac...

Sorry for the misunderstanding, but I was only referring to the Su2Pov3 system.
