Projected Texture Issue

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to apply a texture on a curved surface, but the result is not as espected (see the screenshot below).

Is there a way to do it better ?

I just use the eye-dropper from the materials window to sample a segment of the texture. Make sure you have your hidden lines turned on. There probably is an easier way to do it. Is this what you're trying to achieve?
