Change font on 3D text?

Once I create and place 3D text, is there a way to change its font family? size? etc? (7-Pro on Mac)

Sophie424, once you've created the 3D text, there is no way to change the font or edit the text. It becomes 3D geometry like anythng else in SU; it just happens to look like text. You can use the push/pull tool and the scale tool to change its size, just like you would with any other SU geometry, but it's easier to erase it and do all over.

So I tried delete and re-do the text. It seems that the font-size I pick sometimes have no effect at all (don't appear highlighted in the font-size list, no effect on the text dialog box or on the 3d when placed), or have entirely unpredictable effects. I'm on mac osx 10.5.6.
Does it work OK for you?

Sophie, I'm on XP Pro, and yes it works for me - never had any problems with either versions 6 or 7. Is it just this one file, or have you always had trouble with it? Is it certain fonts, perhaps?
