I have imported in my model an escalator (found on the 3D wharehouse). How can I adjust its length? Thanks for help

      Hi Luca,

If you select the Scale tool you can adjust its length, height, width separately or uniformly altogether...

I think there is a model escalator on the Warehouse that has some individual steps in the central section. You can duplicate some of these to create extra length and height. It's not quite as flexible as this one, but works all right

Now as Alan chimes in, I am realising that my simple suggestion was not god enough. You ubviously do not simply scale an escalator but need "extra steps" and such (like with a Dynamic component).

Thanks Gaieus and Alan for the information, I will look in the wharehouse for the escalator with the individual steps that can be added at the top.

I didn't know about those "dynamic" objects (like the ones that can be found at the link that Alan included in the reply). I suppose that those objects are not downloadable for free...

There are a bunch of (free) escalators in the 3D Warehouse but I haven't found any dynamic ones (although I remember one maybe but now I'm not even sure).

                Thanks James,
The conpet of "dynamic objecdts" is amazing, I will try to study and may be one day Il'' be able to build my own ones.

I couldn't find any dynamic esclators in the wharehouse, as correctly Gaieus reports. Nevermind...

                Thanks for help
