      Hi Guys,

      I have been playing around with Door/Sill Plugin which is a very useful tool. The thing is you have to select the inner polygons to run the script on. Instead of selecting a polygons, then rotating around the model for the other polygon it would be alot simpler to select the polygon in plan view and then run a quick script (preferably a button or shortcut at least) to de-select the edges to run the Door/Sill sript on the 2 faces.

      Hope this makes sense. Basically a tool to de-select the edges of a selection you have made.

      Many thanks in advance.

        You can do that with Selection Toys: http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=14975

        Rightclick on a selection and choose Selection->Deselect Edges

        I've assigned various hotkeys which I use all the time to filter my selection:
        Ctrl+1 -> Selection->Lines (Returns just the lines of the selection)
        Ctrl+2 -> Selection->Faces
        Ctrl+3 -> Selection->Groups
        Ctrl+4 -> Selection->Components

        Ctrl+Shift+1 -> Selection->Deselect Lines
        Ctrl+Shift+2 -> Selection->Deselect Faces
        Ctrl+Shift+3 -> Selection->Deselect Groups
        Ctrl+Shift+4 -> Selection->Deselect Components

        The combination of those shortcuts are very quickly accessible to my left hand while I model.
