Assume a rectangle has been drawn and afterwards its footprint needs to be modified to 4" wide x 3" tall.

Is this the only way to resize it to a specific dimension?
      1- Select the rectangle
2- Select one of its Corner grab handles and drag it
3- Then type the absolute numberic values for the width and height, each followed by the unit of measure and separated by a comma. For example, 4",3"

You simple can't select an object and begin typing in absolute values

You could - a rectangle of a SU model. Here it's about a shape in LayOut however (imagine a rectangular area with borders around a text). πŸ˜‰

@John; well, at least you CAN scale it at all! πŸ˜„
