Indigo For A Dummy

Ok, so I downloaded Indigo...took a simple section of rail, pulled down the plugin and now I am waiting...is this it? Do you just let it run for hours and hours? When is it done? Can I stop it without losing progress? I can't seem to find any helpful info in the manual or anywhere online. All the help is very specific. This is my first experience with any rendering tool, so as you can imagine I am very confused. Any help or insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,

yes, just let it run, i usually leave it overnight. it save an image file every 2 min (default) so you can just go to the indigo/renders directory after and it will be there with something like im456878913133.png as a file name. its easiest to find if you view the directory in thumbnail view. (i hope your on a PC or everything i just posted probably won't make sense)

As xrok said, you just let it go until your happy with it. Depending on your computer and the scene this can take anything from 30 mins to a few days.
If youre using indigo/skindigo 1.0.9 you will lose any progress once you have stopped the render. If your using indigo/skindigo 1.1.16 then you can resume the render from the .igs file (the indigo scene file.)
If you head over to the indigo forum whaat has posted a very good tutorial for skindigo 1.0.9, it should be enough to get you started
