How to make a curve on a cylinder?

Hello all
I am a new member on this forum and live in Sweden.
I have a problem and hope someone can give me a hint.
I have a cylinder and want to do an intake? in the middle but want it as a smoth curve, not a V-form.
How can I do that?

(Hm... Pilou beat me but never mind - mine is a bit different)
You probably drw a circle and then PushPulled it up to a cylinder.
In order to draw a shape you would like, you need to approach the whole differently, lathing a profile shape around the circle with the Follow me tool
See example file attached and follow the two-step instructions under
METHOD 2.
