      Hi all
      Happy new year from Australia!
Is there a way to export a mechanical type drawing to autocad with hidden lines shown. eg. if a component is behind its shown as a dashed line
      Thanks Andrew

        Andrew,

This kind of workaround occurred to me:

I exported a wireframe view and changed that to a dashed linetype in AutoCad. Then I exported a hidden line view and put it on top of the wireframe. To me it looks OK. Of course many of the lines are now doubled, but a clever use of the Overkill command might get rid of them.
