    Weird Image Issue

      I am exporting png's out of Sketchup (9000 pixels) and noticed I am having this weird issue going on. As you can see from the image I am having other images "bleeding" through, although the images that are bleeding through have never been associated with that particular geometry. One thing to note is that the 2 places I am getting the bleeds are all part of one large group. Also, these bleeds do not show up in the model, only in the exported image.

      Anyone else noticed this? I am using the "maximum image size" option (in case this might matter).

      I will be putting in a bug issue with Google and follow up with any replies

      P.S. Sorry for the small image size (I am still one of the unlucky few who can not upload larger size images).

      Note this is now corrected by un-checking the "Maximum texture size" option. Weird!!

        Looks like a bug to me.

        Transparency does odd things to non transparent objects behind transparent objects. For example I often use follow me NPR trees at transparency less than 100. On screen is fine. But when I export PNG not only is my tree transparent, but so is the building behind it. Not sure that it explains what is happening here, but maybe related.

        One comment on the rendering. It might be nice to move the camera slightly so the far edge of the table doesn't line up with the change in material on the floor. Was confusing at first glance.

          Thanks David, I have made the change to the camera angle. I guess it is one of those things that when you work on it long enough I know what is what but others may not. Thanks.

          As far as the explanation (or idea) I am not sure if that is it, only due to the fact that the same thing happened when a shot was taken from the other side of the glass wall looking in. The tile in front of the wall was messed up there as well. Once I turned off "use maximum texture size" this bug went away. I only turned that on since I had heard it may help the overall quality of exported images. As I know know that is not always the case.
